Kazuki Shimizu vs Aki Kure

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 15/10/2040 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Kazuki Shimizu (35 - 8) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Aki Kure(2 - 2) from Machida, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Shimizu steps to the outside and finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Kure sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Shimizu connects with a right uppercut.

Kure pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Shimizu tries to step out of his opponents range.  Shimizu sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Kure connects with a cross.  
Kure tries to land a jab, but Shimizu blocks the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Kure forces Shimizu to retreat onto the ropes.  Kure is on target with a right hook.  
Shimizu is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Kure tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Shimizu lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Shimizu finds the target with a jab.  
Shimizu lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Kure tries to land a jab, but Shimizu blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Shimizu lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  Shimizu attempts to land a jab, but Kure sidesteps and counters with a left hook.
