Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 31/10/2040 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Matt Steele (31 - 13) who hails from Jacksonville, USA and Oliver David(2 - 6) from Houston, USA.  

Round 1: 

Steele steps away from his opponent.  Steele feints a jab, but David ignores the feint and is on target with a left uppercut.  
David cuts off the ring, trapping Steele on the ropes.  David hits home with a right uppercut.  
Steele tries to step out of his opponents range.  Steele sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Steele lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
David pivots to the left of his opponent.  Steele lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  Steele tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
David tries to keep the action at long range.  Steele lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Steele switches the action to the outside.  Steele quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a sharp cross.  
Steele tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab to the head, a jab to the body and a cross to the head.  
Steele connects with an overhand right.  
David throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Steele is looking to keep his distance.  Steele sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Steele tries to land a jab, but David sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Steele sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.

David is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Steele is looking to keep his distance.  Steele drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  David attempts to land a jab, but Steele blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
David manages to force Steele into a neutral corner.  David lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Steele lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Steele drives a left hook into David's ribs.  
Steele is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Steele lands a straight 1 - 2.  He then lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.

David pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a stinging cross.

David closes the distance and manouvers Steele onto the ropes.  David pivots to the right of his opponent, but Steele lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
David sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Steele attempts to land a left hook, but David blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
David walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Steele is on target with a solid left hook to David's body.  
David steps inside.  David pivots to the side of his opponent.  David throws a left hook, but Steele ties up his opponent.  Steele tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits David behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
David sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Steele's body.  
Steele steps to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He follows up the attack and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Steele lands a jab.  
David forces Steele to retreat onto the ropes.  Steele lands with a ramrod jab.  
Steele tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  Steele tries to land a cross, but David blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Steele switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Steele lands a cross.  
Steele throws a left uppercut, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Steele clinches his opponent.  Steele uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on David's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Steele to stop fouling.

David pivots from in front of his opponent, but Steele lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
David sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Steele hits home with a solid left hook.
