Xaver Huerta vs Francesco Cappola

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 15/11/2040 from Havana, Cuba:

The Havana venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Xaver Huerta (30(7) - 3) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Francesco Cappola(6 - 21(1)) from New York City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Huerta advances into close range and hits home with a sharp right uppercut.

Huerta advances into close range and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  Huerta holds on to his opponent.  Cappola pushes his forearm into Huerta's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Cappola about fouling.  
Cappola throws a left hook, but Huerta clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Huerta pushes his forearm into Cappola's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Cappola attempts to land a left hook, but Huerta blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Huerta forces Cappola to retreat into the corner.  Huerta lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Cappola hits home with a right hook.  
Cappola steps inside and throws a left hook, but Huerta holds on to his opponent.  Cappola is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Huerta lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Huerta manouvers Cappola onto the ropes.  Huerta is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Cappola connects with a firm left hook.  
Huerta is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents body.

Huerta closes the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Huerta clinches his opponent.  Huerta pushes his forearm into Cappola's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Huerta tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Cappola connects with a stinging cross.  
Cappola closes the distance.  Huerta lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Huerta lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Cappola tries to land a cross, but Huerta slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Huerta lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!
