Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 21/11/2040 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jiro Morimoto (35 - 12) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Jun Aoki(3 - 9(1)) from Tokyo, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Morimoto lands with a sharp jab.

Morimoto connects with a stinging left hook.  
Morimoto is on target with a right uppercut to Aoki's ribs.  
Morimoto digs in a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  Morimoto tries to land a left hook, but Aoki blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Aoki quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Morimoto lands a cross.  
Morimoto is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook.  
Morimoto hits home with a left hook.  
Morimoto is looking to close the distance.  Aoki throws a left hook, but Morimoto holds on to his opponent.  Aoki pushes his forearm into Morimoto's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Aoki about fouling.

Morimoto sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Morimoto throws a right hook, but misses the target.  Morimoto ties up his opponent.  Morimoto is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Morimoto.
