Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 12/12/2040 from Duque de Cazias, Brazil:

The Duque de Cazias venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Neper Vala (13 - 10) who hails from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Ahmed Atia(0 - 1) from Alexandria, Egypt.  

Round 1: 

Vala connects with a cross.  
Vala steps to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Atia sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Vala tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with an overhand right.  
Vala pivots to the side of his opponent.  Atia throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Vala tries to step out of his opponents range.  Atia lands a solid cross.  
Atia hits home with a stinging right uppercut.  
Atia steps inside.  Vala lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Vala steps away from his opponent and hits home with an overhand right.  
Atia gets on the inside and is on target with a firm right uppercut.  
Atia digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Vala feints a right hook, and then lands a cross.  
Vala lands a cross to the body followed by two jab's to the head.

Vala steps to the outside and lands a stiff jab.  
Atia closes the distance and attempts to land a right hook, but Vala slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Vala connects with an overhand right.  
Atia is looking to close the distance.  Atia sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a solid right uppercut.  
Vala is looking to keep his distance.  Atia throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Atia throws a right hook, but Vala ties up his opponent.  Atia uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Vala's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Atia.  
Vala is on target with a sharp left uppercut.  Vala holds on to his opponent.  Vala leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Vala's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight.

Atia is looking to close the distance.  Vala lands a left hook.  Vala ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Vala pushes his forearm into Atia's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Vala about fouling.  
Atia forces Vala to back into the ropes.  Vala lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.
