Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 16/12/2040 from New York City, USA:

The New York City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Morgan Shawn (40(6) - 8) who hails from New York City, USA and Dan Donnelly(1 - 32(4)) from Buffalo, USA.  

Round 1: 

Shawn steps inside and is on target with a solid right hook to Donnelly's ribs.  
Donnelly finds the target with a jab.  
Shawn steps inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Shawn manouvers Donnelly onto the ropes.  Shawn is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Shawn drives a firm right hook into Donnelly's body.  
Shawn steps inside and hits home with a solid right hook.  
Shawn lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Shawn lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Shawn lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Shawn ties up his opponent.  Shawn is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Shawn and breaks the clinch.

Shawn steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Donnelly in a corner.  Donnelly throws a right uppercut, but Shawn ties up his opponent.  Shawn leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Shawn's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Shawn quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Shawn lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  Shawn clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Donnelly throws a right hook, but Shawn holds on to his opponent.  Shawn is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Shawn lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Shawn steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Shawn digs in a solid left hook to his opponents body.  Shawn ties up his opponent.  Shawn leans on his opponent using all his weight. Donnelly pushes his forearm into Shawn's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Shawn closes the distance and drives a powerful right hook into his opponents body.  DONNELLY HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Shawn clinches his opponent.  Shawn is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Donnelly tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Donnelly tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Donnelly walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Donnelly goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Shawn time to recover.  
Shawn hits home with a left hook.  
Shawn is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Donnelly almost instantly gets his legs back.

Shawn walks Donnelly down, trapping him on the ropes.  Shawn quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DONNELLY IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Shawn!
