Joaquin Peres vs Xavion Rita

The Rio de Janeiro venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Joaquin Peres (3 - 3) who hails from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Xavion Rita(0 - 1) from Recife, Brazil.

Peres closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Peres lands a sharp jab.  
Rita sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a right uppercut.

Peres switches the action to the outside.  Peres sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Rita is on target with a cross.  
Peres hits home with a stinging cross.  
Rita tries to step out of his opponents range and throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Peres feints a right hook, and then hits home with a firm overhand right.  
Rita lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Rita is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Peres connects with a cross.

Peres steps to the outside and tries to land a jab, but Rita dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.
