Brett Ruane vs Lucas Peterson

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 12/02/2041 from Sheffield, UK:

The Sheffield venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Brett Ruane (32 - 7) who hails from Sheffield, UK and Lucas Peterson(1 - 13) from Leeds, UK.  

Round 1: 

Peterson tries to keep the action at long range.  Ruane lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.

Ruane advances into close range.  Ruane pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

Ruane manages to force Peterson onto the ropes.  Ruane sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Peterson throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Peterson connects with a cross.  
Peterson tries to step out of his opponents range and tries to land a jab, but Ruane slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Ruane lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Ruane lands a stiff jab.  
Ruane hits home with a firm cross.  
Ruane lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Ruane tries to land a cross, but Peterson slips the shot and counters with a cross.
