Shayan Younan vs Takeo Kai

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 10/03/2041 from New Delhi, India:

The New Delhi venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Shayan Younan (54 - 2) who hails from New Delhi, India and Takeo Kai(1 - 0) from Shizuoka, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Younan lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Younan tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Younan leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Kai accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Younan.  Kai digs in a left hook to Younan's ribs.

Kai tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm right hook.  
Younan lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Younan advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Younan is looking to close the distance.  Kai throws a left uppercut, but Younan holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Kai pushes his forearm into Younan's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Kai.

Kai drives a right hook into his opponents body.  Kai attempts to land a right hook, but Younan blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

Kai strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Younan lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.
