Alen Ervine vs Chris Roller

Boxing Daily Report from the Australia National Finals 2041,  taking place on 11/03/2041 from Melbourne, Australia:

The Melbourne venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alen Ervine (7 - 13(1)) who hails from Perth, Australia and Chris Roller(12(3) - 4) from Melbourne, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Ervine lands with a sharp jab.

Ervine hits home with a right hook.  Roller ties up his opponent.  Ervine tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Roller behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ervine is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Roller steps inside and is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Roller is on target with a left hook to Ervine's ribs.  
Roller lands a right uppercut followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Roller manages to force Ervine onto the ropes.  Ervine hits home with a left hook.  Roller clinches his opponent.  Roller pushes his forearm into Ervine's face.  The ref breaks Roller's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ervine attempts to land a right uppercut, but Roller parries the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Roller lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Roller is on target with a solid left hook.  
Roller quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Ervine connects with a left uppercut.  
Roller closes the distance.  Roller sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Ervine's ribs.  
Ervine is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land a cross, but Roller sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Roller throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Roller holds on to his opponent.  Roller is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Roller about fouling.  
Roller drives a right uppercut into Ervine's ribs.  
Roller walks Ervine onto the ropes.  Ervine hits home with a right uppercut.

Roller lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Roller gets on the inside.  Roller sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Roller lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Roller manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Roller is on target with a stinging right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Roller tries to land a right uppercut, but Ervine blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Roller is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Roller steps inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Roller pivots to the side of his opponent.  Roller digs in a left hook to Ervine's body.  Roller clinches his opponent.  Ervine leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Roller tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Ervine's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Roller lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Roller manages to force Ervine onto the ropes.  Roller lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Roller quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a solid right uppercut.  
Roller lands a left uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Roller lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Roller lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Roller knows Ervine is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Roller lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND SENDS ERVINE TO THE CANVAS!  The count reaches 10, but Ervine is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Roller!
