Peter Lowery vs Emmanuel Meiffret

Boxing Daily Report from the Canada National Finals 2041,  taking place on 11/03/2041 from Toronto, Canada:

The Toronto venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Peter Lowery (36 - 14) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Emmanuel Meiffret(80(27) - 29(4)) from Montreal, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Lowery sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Lowery throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Meiffret advances into close range and crashes a FIERCE right hook to his opponents body.  DOWN GOES LOWERY!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  
Meiffret walks his opponent into the corner.  Meiffret lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Meiffret pivots to the side of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Lowery recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Meiffret pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Lowery is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a hard jab.  
Meiffret gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body, KNOCKING LOWERY DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Meiffret ties up his opponent.  Meiffret pushes his forearm into Lowery's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Lowery quickly recovers. 
Meiffret lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  Meiffret attempts to land a left hook, but Lowery dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Meiffret's body.  
Lowery throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Meiffret steps inside and manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Meiffret tries to land a right hook, but Lowery blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Meiffret lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Lowery switches the action to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook to Lowery's ribs.  
Lowery lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Lowery attempts to land a jab, but Meiffret parries the shot and counters with a big left uppercut to Lowery's ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE LOWERY WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Meiffret is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Meiffret is on target with a DESTRUCTIVE left uppercut.  LOWERY IS DOWN!  THE REF DOES NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH THE COUNT...HE'S SEEN ENOUGH AND HAS STOPPED THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Meiffret!
