Wyatt Batton vs Justin Wern

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 14/03/2041 from Paris, France:

The Paris venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Wyatt Batton (86(2) - 2) who hails from Paris, France and Justin Wern(3 - 10(1)) from Shah Alam, Malaysia.  

Round 1: 

Batton closes the distance.  Wern is on target with a left hook.  
Wern lands with a solid jab.  
Batton hits home with a sharp cross.  Batton attempts to land a jab, but Wern sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Batton advances into close range.  Batton sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a firm right hook.  
Wern is looking to keep his distance.  Batton tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Batton closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Batton walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Batton lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Batton drives a left uppercut into Wern's body.  
Batton lands a solid right uppercut.  
Batton lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Batton advances into close range.  Batton quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Batton walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Batton connects with a left hook.  
Batton pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body, KNOCKING WERN DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.

Batton sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Wern throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Batton lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Batton sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a firm right hook into Wern's ribs.  
Batton lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Batton sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Batton is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Batton feints a jab, fooling Wern into throwing a right uppercut counter.  Batton springs the trap and counters with  a mean right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  WERN IS HURT!  Wern quickly recovers. 
Batton lands a left hook, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Batton closes the distance.  Batton sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Wern throws a right hook, but Batton ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Wern pushes his forearm into Batton's face.  The referee warns Wern and breaks the clinch.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Batton's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.

Wern pivots to the right of his opponent, but Batton lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Batton is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Batton sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a firm cross into Wern's body.  
Batton sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Wern lands a cross.  
Batton lands with a spiteful jab.
