Edmundo Lora vs Javier Colon

Boxing Daily Report from the Ecuador National Finals 2041,  taking place on 14/03/2041 from Guayaquil, Ecuador:

The Guayaquil venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Edmundo Lora (47(5) - 45(2)) who hails from Duran, Ecuador and Javier Colon(9 - 14(1)) from Quito, Ecuador.

Colon is looking to close the distance and hits home with a stinging right hook.  Colon attempts to land a left hook, but Lora blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Colon tries to land an overhand left, but Lora slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Colon gets on the inside and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  Lora holds on to his opponent.  Colon leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Lora is looking to keep his distance and finds the target with a jab.  
Lora lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Colon tries to land a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a spiteful cross.  COLON HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.

Lora lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Colon steps inside and throws a left uppercut, but Lora clinches his opponent.  Colon leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Lora's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Colon closes the distance.  Lora is on target with a SAVAGE left hook.  COLON IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Lora is looking to keep the action on the outside and attempts to land a cross, but Colon sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to Lora's body.
