Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 15/03/2041 from Rome, Italy:

The Rome venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Henry McAfee (7 - 8) who hails from Glasgow, UK and Rodolfo Basini(36 - 32(1)) from Rome, Italy.  

Round 1:

McAfee switches the action to the outside.  McAfee sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  McAfee attempts to land an overhand left, but Basini sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Basini is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
McAfee steps to the outside.  McAfee sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Basini steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  McAfee hits home with a cross.  McAfee tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.

McAfee quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  McAfee throws a left uppercut, but Basini clinches his opponent.  Basini is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Basini about fouling.  
McAfee is on target with a stiff jab.  
Basini gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Basini lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Basini finds the target with a solid jab.
