Into Lappo vs Salomo Pykkonen

Boxing Daily Report from the Finland National Finals 2041,  taking place on 26/03/2041 from Turku, Finland:

The Turku venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Into Lappo (9 - 17) who hails from Espoo, Finland and Salomo Pykkonen(48(1) - 28(1)) from Espoo, Finland.  

Round 1: 

Lappo is on target with a solid left hook.  
Pykkonen walks Lappo into a corner.  Pykkonen lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Lappo steps away from his opponent and hits home with a firm cross.  
Pykkonen is looking to close the distance.  Pykkonen pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Pykkonen advances into close range.  Pykkonen quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Pykkonen closes the distance.  Pykkonen quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Pykkonen lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  Pykkonen ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Lappo pushes his forearm into Pykkonen's face.  The referee warns Lappo and breaks the clinch.  
Pykkonen tries to keep the action at long range.  Pykkonen sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab to Lappo's body.  
Pykkonen closes the distance and forces Lappo to retreat into the red corner.  Pykkonen drives a right hook into Lappo's ribs.  
Lappo hits home with a stinging left uppercut.  Pykkonen holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Pykkonen pushes his forearm into Lappo's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Pykkonen about fouling.  
Pykkonen pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Pykkonen steps to the outside.  Lappo connects with a stinging cross.  
Lappo steps away from his opponent.  Pykkonen is on target with an overhand left.  
Pykkonen connects with a right hook.  Pykkonen holds on to his opponent.  Pykkonen leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Pykkonen's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Pykkonen lands a double right hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES LAPPO!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Lappo is looking to keep his distance.  Pykkonen thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Lappo away.  Pykkonen SLAMS a hurtful right hook into his opponents face.  LAPPO HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 9.  Lappo now seems to have got his legs back.  
Pykkonen walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Pykkonen quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Lappo throws a left hook, but Pykkonen clinches his opponent.  Pykkonen throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Pykkonen connects with a left hook.  
Pykkonen drives a right hook into Lappo's body.  
Pykkonen lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Pykkonen lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Pykkonen's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.

Lappo hits home with a solid cross.  Lappo throws an overhand left, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.

Pykkonen switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a jab.
