Boxing Daily Report from the Jamaica National Finals 2041,  taking place on 26/03/2041 from Spanish Town, Jamaica:

The Spanish Town venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Brett Broadie (3 - 20) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Robert Riddel(5 - 21) from Kingston, Jamaica.

Broadie is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He continues the combination and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.

Riddel closes the distance and lands a sharp right uppercut.

Broadie attempts to land a jab, but Riddel dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Riddel hits home with a firm left uppercut.  
Broadie steps to the outside and is on target with a solid overhand right.  
Riddel pivots to the right of his opponent, but Broadie connects with a cross.  
Riddel forces Broadie to back into the corner.  Riddel lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

Riddel closes the distance and walks Broadie down, trapping him on the ropes.  Riddel drives a solid left hook into his opponents body.  Broadie ties up his opponent.  Riddel is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Riddel about fouling.

Riddel gets on the inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Broadie holds on to his opponent.  Riddel leans on his opponent using all his weight. Riddel uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Broadie behind the head.
