Gregor Clewis vs Sid Towns

Boxing Daily Report from the Jamaica National Finals 2041,  taking place on 26/03/2041 from Spanish Town, Jamaica:

The Spanish Town venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gregor Clewis (37(1) - 16) who hails from Spanish Town, Jamaica and Sid Towns(1 - 4(1)) from New Kingston, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Clewis steps to the outside and lands an overhand right, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Towns walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Towns throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Clewis steps to the outside and lands a VICIOUS cross.  TOWNS IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Clewis lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Clewis is on target with a jab.  
Towns manouvers Clewis onto the ropes.  Towns lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Towns pivots to the side of his opponent, but Clewis lands a right hook to the body, a jab to the head and a cross to the head.  
Clewis tries to keep the action at long range.  Clewis feints a jab, but Towns ignores the feint and responds with a left hook to Clewis's body.  
Clewis hits home with a solid overhand left.  
Clewis switches the action to the outside and connects with a firm cross.  
Towns throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Clewis is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land a jab, but Towns parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Towns attempts to land a jab, but Clewis slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Towns lands a right hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Towns switches the action to the outside.  Clewis SLAMS a WICKED overhand right into his opponents face.  TOWNS IS HURT!  Towns almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Towns sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Clewis throws a right uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Clewis ties up his opponent.  Towns leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Clewis pushes his forearm into Towns's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Towns finds the target with a jab.  
Clewis steps away from his opponent and is on target with a solid cross.  Clewis throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Clewis digs in a sharp left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Clewis steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand right, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Clewis lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Clewis's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.

Towns attempts to land a jab, but Clewis dodges the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Towns manouvers Clewis onto the ropes.  Clewis lands a jab.  
Clewis lands a cross to his opponents body.  
Clewis sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a stinging jab to his opponents body.  
Clewis lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Clewis steps to the outside.  Clewis feints a jab, tricking Towns into throwing a cross counter.  Clewis is waiting for the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Towns walks Clewis onto the ropes.  Clewis lands a straight 1 - 2.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Towns recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Clewis is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand left, cross and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Clewis lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Clewis is looking to keep his distance.  Clewis feints a cross, tricking Towns into countering with a cross.  Clewis is waiting for the shot and counters with a firm right hook to Towns's body.

Clewis quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands an overhand right, cross and a jab to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Towns almost instantly gets his legs back.

Towns steps inside and walks Clewis down, trapping him on the ropes.  Clewis drives a sharp left hook into his opponents ribs.  Clewis holds on to his opponent.  Clewis pushes his forearm into Towns's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
