Matthew Heinicke vs Louis Beaton

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 28/03/2041 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Matthew Heinicke (29 - 4) who hails from Saint Paul, USA and Louis Beaton(1 - 5) from Shreveport, USA.  

Round 1: 

Heinicke steps inside and connects with a firm right hook.  
Heinicke is looking to close the distance.  Beaton tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Heinicke digs in a stinging left hook to Beaton's body.  Heinicke tries to land a left hook, but Beaton sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut.

Beaton attempts to land a jab, but Heinicke blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Heinicke walks Beaton onto the ropes.  Heinicke pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Heinicke closes the distance and digs in a left uppercut to Beaton's body.  
Beaton hits home with a firm cross.  
Heinicke walks Beaton into the blue corner.  Heinicke lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Heinicke sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Beaton connects with a left hook.  
Heinicke lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Heinicke ties up his opponent.  Heinicke tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Beaton behind the head. The referee warns Heinicke and breaks the clinch.  
Heinicke lands with a sharp jab.  
Beaton manages to force Heinicke into a neutral corner.  Heinicke finds the target with a stiff jab.
