Villard Larive vs Rasim Hashim

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 29/03/2041 from Quebec City, Canada:

The Quebec City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Villard Larive (44 - 4) who hails from Gaineau, Canada and Rasim Hashim(1 - 6) from Toshkent, Uzbekistan.  

Round 1: 

Larive steps inside.  Larive steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Hashim is whaling away with hooks, but Larive keeps his defence tight.  
Larive attempts to land a jab, but Hashim sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Hashim pivots from in front of his opponent, but Larive lands a firm cross.  
Larive steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Larive steps inside and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Larive lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Hashim pivots from in front of his opponent, but Larive is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Hashim is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a solid overhand right.  
Hashim pivots to the right of his opponent, but Larive connects with a stinging cross.  
Larive is looking to close the distance and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.

Larive closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Larive's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.
