Boxing Daily Report from the Finland National Finals 2041,  taking place on 29/03/2041 from Turku, Finland:

The Turku venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Aleksanteri Vaijarvi (10 - 23) who hails from Tampere, Finland and Salomo Pykkonen(49(2) - 28(1)) from Espoo, Finland.

Vaijarvi attempts to land a right hook, but Pykkonen blocks the shot and counters with a stinging cross.

Pykkonen lands a double left hook to his opponents head.

Pykkonen lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Vaijarvi is looking to close the distance.  Pykkonen is on target with a right hook to Vaijarvi's body.  
Pykkonen pivots to the side of his opponent and lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Pykkonen advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Pykkonen lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Pykkonen hits home with an overhand right.  
Pykkonen closes the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Pykkonen pivots to the side of his opponent.  Pykkonen connects with a stinging right hook.  Pykkonen clinches his opponent.  Vaijarvi pushes his forearm into Pykkonen's face.  The referee warns Vaijarvi and breaks the clinch.  
Vaijarvi hits home with a sharp left hook.  Vaijarvi tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Vaijarvi switches the action to the outside.  Pykkonen lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Pykkonen gets on the inside.  Vaijarvi lands a left hook.  Vaijarvi tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Pykkonen connects with a left hook.  
Vaijarvi steps away from his opponent.  Pykkonen throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Pykkonen's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.

Vaijarvi advances into close range.  Pykkonen knows Vaijarvi is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Pykkonen lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head, AND VAIJARVI IS DOWN!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Pykkonen!
