Takeo Higashi vs Keiichi Shimomura

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 12/04/2041 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Takeo Higashi (45(4) - 8) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Keiichi Shimomura(0 - 20) from Tokyo, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Shimomura digs in a right hook to Higashi's body.  
Higashi lands a right hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Higashi attempts to land a jab, but Shimomura blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Higashi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Higashi attempts to land a right uppercut, but Shimomura sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Higashi lands a cross to the body, a cross to the head and a right hook to the body.

Higashi throws a left hook, but is off-target.  Higashi clinches his opponent.  Higashi is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Higashi uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Shimomura's kidney. The referee warns Higashi and breaks the clinch.  
Higashi lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Higashi sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Higashi sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Higashi crashes a spiteful right uppercut to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE SHIMOMURA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Shimomura almost instantly recovers. 
Higashi lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Higashi senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Shimomura and just needs the right shot.  Higashi lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND SHIMOMURA IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Shimomura's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!
