Alejandro Gamon vs Ximen Coro

Boxing Daily Report from the Mexico National Finals 2041,  taking place on 14/04/2041 from Chihuahua, Mexico:

The Chihuahua venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Middleweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alejandro Gamon (9 - 1(1)) who hails from Ciudad Apodaca, Mexico and Ximen Coro(21(7) - 17) from Mexico City, Mexico.  

Round 1: 

Coro gets on the inside and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.

Coro steps inside.  Gamon lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Coro manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Coro lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Gamon is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Coro is on target with a stinging cross.  
Coro steps inside and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  
Coro gets on the inside.  Gamon attempts to land a right hook, but Coro sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Coro lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Coro ties up his opponent.  Coro is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Coro about fouling.  
Coro manouvers Gamon onto the ropes.  Coro quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Gamon digs in a firm left hook to Coro's body.  
Coro digs in a right hook to Gamon's body.  Coro clinches his opponent.  Gamon leans on his opponent using all his weight. Coro hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee warns Coro and breaks the clinch.  Coro attempts to land a left hook, but Gamon blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Coro lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Gamon almost instantly recovers. 
Gamon throws a right hook, but Coro clinches his opponent.  Coro leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Gamon steps to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Coro slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Gamon lands a jab.  
Coro gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Coro holds on to his opponent.  Gamon is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Coro advances into close range and digs in a solid left uppercut to his opponents body.  Coro clinches his opponent.  Coro tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Gamon behind the head. 
Coro sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Coro is on target with a solid right hook to Gamon's body.

Gamon throws a right uppercut, but Coro ties up his opponent.  Coro tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Gamon's kidney. Coro leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Coro lands a sharp cross.  
Coro walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Coro drives a sharp left hook into Gamon's ribs.  Coro throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Gamon steps to the outside.  Coro connects with a cross.  
Coro advances into close range and digs in a solid left hook to his opponents liver.  
Gamon switches the action to the outside.  Coro hits home with a sharp overhand left.  
Gamon tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a jab.
