Boxing Daily Report from the New Zealand National Finals 2041,  taking place on 14/04/2041 from Manukau, New Zealand:

The Manukau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Corey Pennie (29(1) - 10) who hails from North Shore, New Zealand and Zach Tudor(11 - 30) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  

Round 1: 

Pennie lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.

Pennie switches the action to the outside and lands a cross, jab and an overhand right to his opponents head.

Pennie connects with a potent left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE TUDOR WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Tudor quickly recovers. 
Pennie lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Tudor quickly recovers. 
Tudor gets on the inside.  Pennie is on target with a right hook.  
Pennie lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Pennie tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Pennie lands a ramrod jab.  
Tudor advances into close range.  Pennie throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Pennie ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Pennie pushes his forearm into Tudor's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Pennie is on target with a jab.  
Tudor is looking to close the distance.  Pennie is on target with a stinging left hook.  Pennie clinches his opponent.  Pennie pushes his forearm into Tudor's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Pennie to stop fouling.  
Tudor forces Pennie to back into the ropes.  Tudor throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Pennie clinches his opponent.  Pennie leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Pennie lands a firm left hook.  
Tudor advances into close range and is on target with a left hook.  Pennie holds on to his opponent.  Pennie uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Tudor behind the head. Tudor is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Tudor about fouling.  
Tudor lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Pennie's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight.

Pennie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Pennie lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Pennie lands an overhand right, overhand left and a jab to his opponents head.  
Tudor gets on the inside.  Pennie lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Pennie tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Pennie tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a stinging overhand right.  
Tudor closes the distance and forces Pennie to back into the ropes.  Pennie digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Tudor sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Pennie digs in a firm right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Pennie steps away from his opponent and connects with a VICIOUS cross.  TUDOR IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE TRIES TO RISE BUT HIS LEGS DONT RESPOND...THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Pennie!
