Diego Marcelo vs Lothar Kammerman

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 22/04/2041 from Buenos Aires, Argentina:

The Buenos Aires venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Diego Marcelo (41 - 4) who hails from La Plata, Argentina and Lothar Kammerman(3 - 19) from Lubeck, Germany.  

Round 1: 

Marcelo pivots to the right of his opponent.  Marcelo digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Marcelo clinches his opponent.  Marcelo pushes his forearm into Kammerman's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Marcelo retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Kammerman steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Kammerman tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Marcelo gets on the inside and is on target with a sharp right uppercut.  
Marcelo lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kammerman pivots to the side of his opponent, but Marcelo digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Kammerman throws a right uppercut, but Marcelo holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Marcelo pushes his forearm into Kammerman's face.  The referee warns Marcelo and breaks the clinch.  
Marcelo gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by two left uppercut's to the head.  
Kammerman steps away from his opponent.  Marcelo lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Marcelo gets on the inside and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Marcelo is on target with a left uppercut.  
Marcelo hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Marcelo is on target with a stinging right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Marcelo's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight.
