Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 25/04/2041 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are John Maben (50(2) - 7) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Jay Pye(6 - 29(2)) from Stockton, USA.  

Round 1: 

Pye quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Maben lands with a stinging jab.

Maben throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Maben steps inside.  Pye throws a left hook, but Maben holds on to his opponent.  Maben is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Maben forces Pye to back into a corner.  Pye tries to land a left hook, but Maben slips the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Maben digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.
