Boxing Daily Report from the Yemen National Finals 2041,  taking place on 26/04/2041 from Al Hudaydah, Yemen:

The Al Hudaydah venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Asif Turk (44(1) - 21) who hails from Al Hudaydah, Yemen and Saad Naggar(1 - 2) from Al Hudaydah, Yemen.

Turk pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Turk manouvers Naggar into a corner.  Turk lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  Turk clinches his opponent.  Turk is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Naggar throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Turk walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Turk pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Turk sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Turk lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Turk gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Turk closes the distance.  Turk quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Naggar attempts to land a cross, but Turk dodges the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Turk's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.
