Harvey Pennison vs Dave Juarez

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 05/05/2041 from Quebec City, Canada:

The Quebec City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Harvey Pennison (22 - 4) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Dave Juarez(1 - 6) from San Antonio, USA.  

Round 1: 

Pennison closes the distance.  Pennison pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Pennison is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  Pennison throws an overhand left, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Pennison tries to keep the action at long range.  Pennison feints a cross, and then finds the target with a jab.  
Pennison sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a stinging cross.  
Pennison lands an overhand right, overhand left and a jab to his opponents head.  
Pennison advances into close range and lands a left hook.  
Juarez lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Pennison lands a stiff jab.  
Pennison feints a right, and then lands a double jab to his opponents body.  
Pennison is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Pennison finds the target with a jab.  
Pennison pivots to the side of his opponent.  Pennison attempts to land a jab, but Juarez sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Pennison's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.

Pennison connects with a cross.  
Pennison lands a jab.  
Pennison lands a stinging jab.  Pennison tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Juarez tries to land a jab, but Pennison sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Juarez is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Pennison holds on to his opponent.  Juarez hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Juarez to stop fouling.  
Pennison lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Pennison holds on to his opponent.  Pennison is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Pennison.

Juarez throws a right hook, but Pennison ties up his opponent.  Pennison uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Juarez behind the head. Pennison is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Juarez's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!
