Alejandro Carbon vs Heung-Min Chi

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 30/05/2041 from Havana, Cuba:

The Havana venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alejandro Carbon (20 - 7) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Heung-Min Chi(1 - 6) from Busan, South Korea.  

Round 1: 

Chi gets on the inside.  Carbon throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Carbon is looking to keep his distance and lands a solid jab.  
Carbon tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Chi is looking to close the distance and manouvers Carbon onto the ropes.  Chi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Carbon lands a right uppercut.  
Chi advances into close range and connects with a right hook.  
Chi cuts off the ring, trapping Carbon on the ropes.  Chi hits home with a left hook.  
Chi closes the distance.  Carbon attempts to land a right hook, but Chi sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Carbon tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab.

Carbon connects with a stinging right hook.  
Chi advances into close range.  Carbon attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Chi's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Carbon is on target with an overhand right.  
Carbon switches the action to the outside.  Carbon is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Chi attempts to land a jab, but Carbon slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Carbon is on target with an overhand right.  
Carbon lands a jab.  
Carbon feints a right hook, and then connects with a sharp left uppercut.  
Carbon lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Carbon's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid. Chi's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Chi advances into close range and drives a left hook into Carbon's body.  Chi attempts to land a left hook, but Carbon parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Chi throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Carbon time to recover.  
Chi is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Carbon lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Carbon is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross to Chi's body.
