Leroy Jalabert vs Zephyr Penna

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 31/05/2041 from Quebec City, Canada:

The Quebec City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Leroy Jalabert (12 - 1) who hails from Lonueuil, Canada and Zephyr Penna(2 - 3) from Athens, Greece.  

Round 1: 

Jalabert gets on the inside.  Jalabert quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a sharp right hook.  
Penna sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Jalabert lands a right hook to the body followed by two jab's to the head.  
Jalabert lands a firm right hook.  
Penna lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  Penna attempts to land a left uppercut, but Jalabert blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Jalabert is on target with a jab.  
Penna attempts to land a left uppercut, but Jalabert sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Jalabert advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He then lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Jalabert is looking to close the distance.  Jalabert pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Jalabert lands a right hook.  
Penna steps away from his opponent.  Jalabert is on target with a jab.  
Jalabert lands a ramrod jab.  
Jalabert lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  
Jalabert gets on the inside and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.

Jalabert lands a jab to Penna's body.  Jalabert throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Jalabert closes the distance.  Jalabert sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Jalabert gets on the inside.  Jalabert sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Jalabert lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Jalabert lands a right hook.  
Jalabert lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Jalabert gets on the inside.  Penna hits home with a left hook.  
Jalabert lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Jalabert advances into close range.  Penna throws a left hook, but Jalabert clinches his opponent.  Jalabert pushes his forearm into Penna's face.  The ref breaks Jalabert's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Jalabert finds the target with a jab.  
Jalabert is on target with a firm cross.  
Penna pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a stinging cross.  
Jalabert gets on the inside.  Jalabert pivots to the right of his opponent.  Jalabert throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Jalabert holds on to his opponent.  Jalabert pushes his forearm into Penna's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Jalabert about fouling.  
Jalabert lands a hard jab.
