Morgan Shawn vs David Levingston

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 02/06/2041 from New York City, USA:

The New York City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Morgan Shawn (46(9) - 8) who hails from New York City, USA and David Levingston(2 - 5(2)) from Knoxville, USA.  

Round 1: 

Levingston attempts to land a jab, but Shawn blocks the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Shawn steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Levingston throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Shawn digs in a stinging left hook to Levingston's ribs.  
Levingston throws a left hook, but Shawn holds on to his opponent.  Levingston is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Shawn pushes his forearm into Levingston's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Shawn.  
Levingston drives a left uppercut into Shawn's ribs.  
Shawn quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Shawn advances into close range.  Shawn pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a right hook into Levingston's ribs.  
Levingston throws a right hook, but Shawn clinches his opponent.  Shawn tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Levingston behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Shawn about fouling.  
Levingston sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Shawn lands a solid cross.  
Shawn gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook.  
Shawn lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Shawn connects with a right hook.  
Levingston hits home with a cross.  
Shawn lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Shawn lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Levingston advances into close range.  Shawn lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Levingston sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Shawn lands a jab.  
Levingston is looking to close the distance.  Shawn is on target with a left hook.  
Shawn finds the target with a jab.  
Levingston feints a cross, but Shawn does not fall for it and lands with a big right uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE LEVINGSTON WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Levingston now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.

Shawn sidesteps to the left of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Shawn crashes a hurtful left hook to his opponents body.  LEVINGSTON WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Shawn holds on to his opponent.  Shawn pushes his forearm into Levingston's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Levingston now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Shawn lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Shawn connects with a firm left hook.  
Shawn is looking to close the distance.  Shawn sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Levingston attempts to land a left hook, but Shawn sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Shawn closes the distance and lands a nasty left hook.  LEVINGSTON IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Shawn steps inside and slams a spiteful right uppercut into Levingston's body.  LEVINGSTON HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Levingston tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Levingston gets on the inside.  Shawn lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Shawn clinches his opponent.  Levingston leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  Levingston quickly recovers. 
Shawn lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Shawn is looking to force the stoppage!  Shawn lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body, AND DOWN GOES LEVINGSTON!  The ref does not give Levingston the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Shawn!
