William Home vs Nathan MacKay

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 04/06/2041 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are William Home (23 - 10(1)) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Nathan MacKay(0 - 3) from Galway, Ireland.  

Round 1: 

Home gets on the inside and is on target with a firm right hook to MacKay's body.  
MacKay throws a left hook, but Home holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Home pushes his forearm into MacKay's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Home lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  He then lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Home clinches his opponent.  MacKay hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures MacKay about fouling.

Home leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
