Matt Steele vs Lee Carrithers

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 06/06/2041 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Matt Steele (40 - 13) who hails from Jacksonville, USA and Lee Carrithers(0 - 2) from Austin, USA.  

Round 1: 

Steele is on target with a left uppercut.  Steele holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Steele pushes his forearm into Carrithers's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Steele quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Steele manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Carrithers throws a right hook, but Steele ties up his opponent.  Steele pushes his forearm into Carrithers's face.  The ref breaks Steele's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Carrithers throws a right hook, but Steele ties up his opponent.  Steele leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Steele is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Steele to stop fouling.  
Steele throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Steele clinches his opponent.  Steele leans on his opponent using all his weight. Steele tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Carrithers behind the head. The ref breaks Steele's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Steele tries to keep the action at long range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He follows up the attack and lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Carrithers steps away from his opponent.  Steele is on target with an overhand right.  
Steele steps inside and walks his opponent into a corner.  Steele lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Steele pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Steele steps inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Steele lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.
