Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 09/06/2041 from Eugene, USA:

The Eugene venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Matt Callejo (43 - 12) who hails from Portland, USA and Ian Menzies(6 - 16) from Indianapolis, USA.  

Round 1:

Callejo feints a cross and triggers a right uppercut counter from Menzies.  Callejo avoids the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Menzies sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Menzies tries to land a jab, but Callejo slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Callejo switches the action to the outside.  Callejo lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Menzies hits home with a solid jab.  
Callejo attempts to land a cross, but Menzies blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Menzies quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Callejo is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a jab.
