Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 17/06/2041 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are John Maben (52(2) - 7) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Rudie Ardzruni(3 - 12) from Vienna, Austria.  

Round 1: 

Maben is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  
Ardzruni pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Ardzruni pivots from in front of his opponent, but Maben drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribs.

Maben steps inside.  Ardzruni throws a right hook, but Maben ties up his opponent.  Maben is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Maben.

Maben tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Ardzruni is on target with a stinging jab.  
Maben advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Maben lands a stinging left hook.  
Ardzruni quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Maben connects with a cross.  
Maben steps inside and is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents body.  Maben holds on to his opponent.  Ardzruni throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Ardzruni about fouling.  
Maben hits home with a left hook.  
Ardzruni pivots from in front of his opponent, but Maben lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Maben lands a jab.  
Maben connects with a cross.

Maben sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Maben advances into close range.  Ardzruni throws a left hook, but Maben holds on to his opponent.  Maben leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Ardzruni tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Maben behind the head. The referee warns Ardzruni and breaks the clinch.
