Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 23/06/2041 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Goro Tanaka (33 - 9) who hails from Machida, Japan and Hitoshi Tanaka(1 - 3) from Kawasaki, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Goro is looking to close the distance.  Goro pivots to the right of his opponent, but Hitoshi lands a sharp right uppercut.  
Goro sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Hitoshi is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Goro closes the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
Hitoshi is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a sharp overhand left.  
Goro closes the distance.  Hitoshi lands a left hook.  
Goro is on target with a left hook.  
Goro connects with a right hook.  
Goro lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Goro is looking to close the distance and tries to land a left uppercut, but Hitoshi sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Hitoshi feints a right, and then digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Goro closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Goro steps inside and connects with a firm right hook.  Goro holds on to his opponent.  Goro is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Goro and breaks the clinch.  
Hitoshi connects with a left hook.  
Goro sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but  throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Goro time to recover.  
Goro hits home with a left hook.  
Goro throws a left hook, but is not on target.  Goro holds on to his opponent.  Goro throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Goro about fouling.

Goro lands with a spiteful jab.  
Goro steps inside.  Goro quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Hitoshi hits home with a cross.  
Goro lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Goro forces Hitoshi to back into the ropes.  Goro lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Goro is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Goro gets on the inside.  Hitoshi hits home with a left uppercut.  
Goro hits home with a right hook.  
Goro pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Goro digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Goro drives a stinging right hook into Hitoshi's ribs.  
Goro throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Goro holds on to his opponent.  Hitoshi leans on his opponent using all his weight. Hitoshi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.
