Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 09/07/2041 from Dushanbe, Tajikistan:

The Dushanbe venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Riyad Leghari (33 - 4) who hails from Dushanbe, Tajikistan and Ichiro Funai(1 - 0) from Tokyo, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Leghari lands a jab followed by  two overhand rights to his opponents head.

Funai throws a right hook, but Leghari ties up his opponent.  Leghari leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Leghari pivots from in front of his opponent.  Leghari throws a left hook, but is unable to find the target.  Leghari clinches his opponent.  Leghari is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Leghari about fouling.
