Takeshi Onaga vs Hiro Miya

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 29/07/2041 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Takeshi Onaga (53 - 6) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Hiro Miya(1 - 0) from Sendai, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Onaga steps to the outside and lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Onaga is on target with a solid cross to his opponents body.  
Onaga is on target with a stinging jab.  
Onaga lands a stiff jab.  
Miya manages to force Onaga into the blue corner.  Onaga lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

As they grapple, Onaga pushes his forearm into Miya's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Onaga about fouling.

Onaga steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Onaga feints a right hook, and then lands a cross.

Miya connects with a cross.  Miya attempts to land an overhand left, but Onaga slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Miya advances into close range.  Onaga throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Onaga clinches his opponent.  Onaga tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Miya's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Onaga steps to the outside and is on target with a ramrod jab.  
Onaga pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a stinging jab.
