Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 30/07/2041 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Peter Jerden (61(1) - 10) who hails from Santa Ana, USA and Cole Wah(0 - 3) from Memphis, USA.  

Round 1: 

Jerden is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  Jerden holds on to his opponent.  Jerden is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Jerden's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Wah throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Wah steps to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Wah sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Wah attempts to land a jab, but Jerden slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Jerden forces Wah to retreat onto the ropes.  Jerden sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two right uppercut's to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Jerden lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Jerden lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Jerden steps inside.  Wah hits home with a left hook.  Jerden clinches his opponent.  Jerden tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Wah behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Jerden lands a left hook.  
Jerden is on target with a left hook to Wah's body.  Jerden ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Jerden pushes his forearm into Wah's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Jerden forces Wah to retreat into the blue corner.  Jerden lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Jerden lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Wah tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Jerden hits the target with a solid jab.  
Jerden advances into close range and digs in a right hook to Wah's ribs.  
Wah steps to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Wah tries to land a jab, but Jerden parries the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Jerden pivots to the side of his opponent.  Jerden connects with a sharp right hook.  Jerden clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Jerden pushes his forearm into Wah's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Jerden about fouling.  
Jerden manages to force Wah onto the ropes.  Jerden sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Jerden gets on the inside and is on target with a right uppercut to Wah's body.  
Wah hits home with a left hook.  
Jerden connects with a cross.  
Wah forces Jerden to retreat onto the ropes.  Jerden lands a cross to the head, a jab to the head and a jab to the body.  
Jerden quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Jerden attempts to land a left hook, but Wah sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Jerden's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight.
