Josh Mabin vs John George

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 01/08/2041 from San Antonio, USA:

The San Antonio venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Josh Mabin (28(9) - 6) who hails from Houston, USA and John George(1 - 0) from Albuquerque, USA.  

Round 1: 

George sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Mabin is on target with a stinging right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mabin attempts to land a left uppercut, but George sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Mabin lands a right uppercut to the body, a cross to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  
Mabin advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Mabin lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Mabin holds on to his opponent.  Mabin is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Mabin and breaks the clinch.  
George tries to keep the action at long range.  Mabin lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Mabin closes the distance and manages to force George onto the ropes.  Mabin drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Mabin digs in a right hook to George's ribs.  
Mabin lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS GEORGE TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Mabin is on target with a firm right uppercut to his opponents body.  Mabin throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Mabin lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Mabin ties up his opponent.  Mabin tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits George behind the head. 
Mabin closes the distance and walks George onto the ropes.  Mabin lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
George throws a right hook, but Mabin ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks Mabin's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Mabin digs in a stinging right uppercut to George's body.  
Mabin drives a firm left uppercut into his opponents liver.  
Mabin lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mabin drives a stinging right uppercut into George's body.  
Mabin lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
George tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Mabin is looking to close the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
George sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Mabin drives a sharp jab into his opponents face.  
Mabin lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Mabin is looking to close the distance.  Mabin knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Mabin lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND DROPS GEORGE!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  It looks like George has now recovered from that shot earlier.

Mabin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but George connects with a left hook.  
Mabin hits home with a cross.  
George pivots to the right of his opponent, but Mabin digs in a stinging left hook to George's ribs.  
Mabin is looking to close the distance.  Mabin sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mabin lands a stinging cross to George's body.  
George walks Mabin onto the ropes.  Mabin lands a right hook to the head, a cross to the head and a left hook to the body, AND GEORGE IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Mabin manouvers George onto the ropes.  Mabin lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Some sustained pressure from Mabin could be enough to finish George!  Mabin lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS GEORGE!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Mabin!
