Fraser Scroggie vs Ricky Primrose

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 07/08/2041 from Eugene, USA:

The Eugene venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Fraser Scroggie (31 - 12) who hails from Portland, USA and Ricky Primrose(0 - 2) from Long Beach, USA.  

Round 1: 

Primrose digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.

Scroggie steps away from his opponent.  Scroggie feints a right hook, and then is on target with a cross.  
Scroggie throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Scroggie steps to the outside.  Primrose is on target with a cross.  Primrose tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Scroggie lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Primrose is on target with an overhand left.  
Primrose walks Scroggie down, trapping him on the ropes.  Primrose sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Scroggie tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Scroggie feints a right hook, and then lands with a solid jab.  
Primrose steps inside.  Primrose goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Scroggie's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Primrose steps inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Primrose throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Primrose pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Primrose connects with a stinging left hook.  
Primrose quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Primrose steps inside and throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Scroggie holds on to his opponent.  Scroggie is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Primrose steps inside and drives a left hook into Scroggie's liver.  
Scroggie lands a stinging jab.  
Primrose lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Primrose quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook.

Primrose steps inside.  Primrose sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Scroggie is on target with a left hook.  Scroggie holds on to his opponent.  Primrose leans on his opponent using all his weight. Scroggie is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Scroggie.  
Scroggie sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Primrose throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Scroggie feints a jab and triggers a right uppercut counter from Primrose.  Scroggie springs the trap, countering with  a right uppercut.  
Scroggie is looking to keep his distance.  Primrose tries to land a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Primrose advances into close range.  Scroggie lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  Scroggie clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Scroggie pushes his forearm into Primrose's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
