Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 09/08/2041 from Havana, Cuba:

The Havana venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Javier Carro (18 - 4) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Rodrigo Beato(9 - 11) from Salvador, Brazil.  

Round 1: 

Carro waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Beato hits home with a cross.  Beato tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Beato advances into close range and attempts to land a right hook, but Carro dodges the shot and counters with a solid cross.

Beato manages to force Carro onto the ropes.  Beato sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Carro lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Carro quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Beato snaps his opponents head back with a sharp jab.  
Beato steps to the outside.  Beato sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Beato attempts to land a jab, but Carro blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Carro switches the action to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Beato steps inside and walks Carro onto the ropes.  Carro connects with a left uppercut.  
Carro quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a sharp left hook.  
Beato is on target with a jab.  
Carro finds the target with a jab.  
Beato advances into close range and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Beato gets on the inside and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Beato is looking to close the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Carro on the ropes.  Carro lands a left uppercut.  Carro holds on to his opponent.  Carro is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
