Cuba Brasil vs Canon Gervais

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 12/08/2041 from Duque de Cazias, Brazil:

The Duque de Cazias venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Cuba Brasil (6 - 4) who hails from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Canon Gervais(1 - 2) from Montreal, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Brasil gets on the inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Brasil hits home with a left uppercut.  
Brasil lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Gervais closes the distance.  Brasil lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Brasil pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Brasil connects with a left hook.  
Brasil closes the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Brasil steps inside and is on target with a left hook to Gervais's body.  
Brasil walks Gervais down, trapping him on the ropes.  Brasil drives a right hook into Gervais's body.  
Brasil goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Gervais's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Brasil cuts off the ring, trapping Gervais in the blue corner.  Brasil digs in a right uppercut to Gervais's body.  
Gervais gets on the inside.  Gervais sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Brasil lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Gervais attempts to land a right hook, but Brasil slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

Brasil walks Gervais down, trapping him on the ropes.  Gervais attempts to land a right hook, but Brasil slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Brasil attempts to land a left uppercut, but Gervais sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Brasil closes the distance and drives a left hook into Gervais's body.  
Brasil closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Brasil digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Gervais pivots to the right of his opponent, but Brasil connects with a cross.  
Gervais lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Brasil manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Brasil sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Brasil hits home with a left hook.  Brasil ties up his opponent.  Gervais is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Gervais.  
Brasil lands a cross.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Gervais's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Gervais tries to land a jab, but Brasil sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Brasil connects with a right uppercut.
