Kazuki Shimizu vs Jiro Sato

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 31/08/2041 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Kazuki Shimizu (46 - 9) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Jiro Sato(7 - 1) from Tokorozawa, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Sato throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Sato quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a sharp left hook.  
Sato steps away from his opponent.  Sato quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Shimizu lands a jab.  
Sato steps inside and forces Shimizu to retreat onto the ropes.  Sato is on target with a left hook to Shimizu's liver.  Sato throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Shimizu's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Shimizu circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Sato connects with a cross.  Sato attempts to land a jab, but Shimizu sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Sato advances into close range and lands a sharp left hook.  
Shimizu is looking to keep his distance and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Sato sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a solid right hook into Shimizu's body.  
Sato pivots to the left of his opponent and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Shimizu lands a firm cross.  
Sato is looking to close the distance.  Sato hits home with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Sato's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.
