Boxing Daily Report from the Dongguan World Boxing Championships 2041,  taking place on 07/09/2041 from Dongguan, China:

The Dongguan venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Round of 32 fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching the broadcast live from around the world, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Aki Umeda (24 - 12) who hails from Kurume, Japan and Jair Lucas(21(6) - 8(1)) from Bogota, Colombia.  

Round 1: 

Umeda advances into close range and lands a right hook.  Lucas ties up his opponent.  Umeda is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Umeda.  
Umeda hits home with a stiff jab.  Umeda attempts to land a jab, but Lucas slips the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Umeda is looking to close the distance and drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Umeda advances into close range.  Lucas drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Umeda closes the distance.  Lucas hits home with a left uppercut.  Lucas ties up his opponent.  Umeda leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Lucas's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Umeda switches the action to the outside and lands with a stinging jab.  
Umeda gets on the inside.  Umeda pivots to the side of his opponent and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.

Lucas connects with a sharp cross.  Lucas tries to land a left uppercut, but Umeda sidesteps and counters with a right hook.
