Daichi Shiro vs Kyo Uehara

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 09/09/2041 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Daichi Shiro (48 - 5) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Kyo Uehara(1 - 0) from Osaka, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Shiro finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Shiro switches the action to the outside and tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Uehara connects with a solid cross.  
Uehara gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Shiro sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Shiro sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a sharp jab.  
Shiro lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Shiro is on target with a cross.  
Uehara steps away from his opponent.  Shiro lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Shiro lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Uehara gets on the inside and digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  
Uehara gets on the inside and hits home with a firm left hook.  
Uehara throws a left hook, but Shiro clinches his opponent.  Shiro pushes his forearm into Uehara's face.  The ref breaks Shiro's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Shiro lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Uehara gets on the inside.  Shiro connects with a left hook.  
Shiro tries to keep the action at long range and finds the target with a hard jab.  
Shiro lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Shiro steps inside.  Uehara throws a left uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook to Uehara's liver.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Shiro's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.

Uehara steps to the outside.  Shiro snaps his opponents head back with a solid jab.  
Shiro closes the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
Shiro quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Uehara is on target with a stinging right hook to Shiro's body.  Shiro holds on to his opponent.  Shiro pushes his forearm into Uehara's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Shiro to stop fouling.  
Shiro sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Uehara digs in a firm left uppercut to his opponents body.  Uehara tries to land a right uppercut, but Shiro slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Shiro manages to force Uehara onto the ropes.  Uehara lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Uehara tries to land a left hook, but Shiro sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Uehara lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Shiro clinches his opponent.  Uehara pushes his forearm into Shiro's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Uehara about fouling.  
Uehara pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Shiro's body.  
Uehara drives a firm right uppercut into Shiro's ribcage.  
Shiro hits home with a left hook.  
Uehara pivots to the left of his opponent.  Shiro throws a left hook, but misses the target.  Shiro ties up his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Shiro gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Uehara is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Shiro lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.
