Takeo Higashi vs Hitoshi Arakaki

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 14/09/2041 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Takeo Higashi (51(6) - 8) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Hitoshi Arakaki(1 - 2) from Hiroshima, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Higashi is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Higashi connects with a cross.  
Arakaki closes the distance.  Higashi lands a sharp left uppercut.  
Arakaki is on target with a right hook.  
Higashi steps inside and throws a right hook, but misses the target.  Higashi clinches his opponent.  Arakaki is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Arakaki pushes his forearm into Higashi's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Higashi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.

Higashi forces Arakaki to retreat into a neutral corner.  Higashi hits home with a firm left hook.  Higashi holds on to his opponent.  Higashi pushes his forearm into Arakaki's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Higashi throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Higashi holds on to his opponent.  Higashi leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Arakaki throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.

Arakaki could be stopped here, if Higashi can find the right shot!  Higashi connects with a big left hook.  ARAKAKI IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Higashi lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES ARAKAKI!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Higashi is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, DROPPING ARAKAKI TO THE CANVAS!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Higashi!
