Alejandro Carbon vs Santiago Najera

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 23/09/2041 from Havana, Cuba:

The Havana venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alejandro Carbon (24 - 7) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Santiago Najera(1 - 0) from Maracaibo, Venezuela.  

Round 1:

Najera advances into close range.  Carbon connects with a left hook.  
Carbon lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Carbon hits home with a cross.  
Carbon feints a left hook, and then lands a cross followed by  two overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Najera lands a cross.  
Carbon connects with a sharp cross.  
Carbon lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Carbon is looking to keep his distance and is on target with an overhand left.

Najera sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Najera lands a left hook.  Carbon holds on to his opponent.  Carbon leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Carbon throws a right hook, but is not on target.  Carbon holds on to his opponent.  Carbon tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Najera behind the head. The ref breaks Carbon's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
