Diego Marcelo vs John Reaney

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 24/09/2041 from Buenos Aires, Argentina:

The Buenos Aires venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Diego Marcelo (47 - 4) who hails from La Plata, Argentina and John Reaney(0 - 2) from Kingston, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Reaney lands a jab.  
Marcelo hits home with a stinging jab.  
Reaney feints a cross, and then tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Marcelo steps inside.  Marcelo pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a solid left hook.

Marcelo pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Reaney stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Marcelo lands a hard jab.

Reaney throws a right hook, but Marcelo clinches his opponent.  Marcelo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
