Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 25/09/2041 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Shinji Kobashigawa (71(17) - 13) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Alec Spade(0 - 2) from Miami, USA.  

Round 1: 

Kobashigawa lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kobashigawa lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Kobashigawa walks Spade down, trapping him on the ropes.  Kobashigawa pivots to the right of his opponent.  Kobashigawa throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.

Spade attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Kobashigawa time to recover.

Kobashigawa lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  Kobashigawa ties up his opponent.  Spade is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Spade.  
Spade throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Kobashigawa holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Kobashigawa pushes his forearm into Spade's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Kobashigawa throws a left uppercut, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Kobashigawa clinches his opponent.  Spade leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Kobashigawa pushes his forearm into Spade's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Kobashigawa to stop fouling.  
Kobashigawa lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Kobashigawa lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Kobashigawa walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Kobashigawa lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Kobashigawa pivots to the left of his opponent.  Kobashigawa attempts to land a jab, but Spade slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.

Kobashigawa advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Spade almost instantly recovers. 
Spade hits home with a solid right hook.  
Kobashigawa gets on the inside.  Spade throws a left hook, but Kobashigawa ties up his opponent.  Kobashigawa leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Spade is on target with a jab.  
Kobashigawa steps inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Kobashigawa holds on to his opponent.  Kobashigawa tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Spade behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Kobashigawa lands a left hook.  
Kobashigawa closes the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Kobashigawa ties up his opponent.  Spade throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Spade about fouling.  
Kobashigawa drives a stinging right hook into his opponents ribs.

Kobashigawa lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Kobashigawa holds on to his opponent.  Kobashigawa is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Spade now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Kobashigawa forces Spade to back into the ropes.  Kobashigawa sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Kobashigawa advances into close range.  Spade lands a left hook.  
Kobashigawa lands a spiteful jab.  
Kobashigawa lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Spade's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!
