Richard Johnstone vs Amer Rajput

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 30/09/2041 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Richard Johnstone (59(1) - 9) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Amer Rajput(1 - 2) from Mumbai, India.  

Round 1: 

Rajput lands a right uppercut.  Rajput throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Rajput is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Johnstone connects with a cross.  
Rajput hits the target with a stinging jab.  
Johnstone lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Johnstone attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Rajput to the neutral corner.  He tells Johnstone he will lose a point if he continues to foul.

Johnstone steps inside.  Johnstone quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Rajput's body.  
Johnstone gets on the inside and attempts to land a right hook, but Rajput blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Johnstone lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Johnstone lands a jab to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a cross to the head.  
Johnstone gets on the inside.  Johnstone quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.

Johnstone steps inside and lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Rajput throws a left uppercut, but Johnstone clinches his opponent.  Johnstone leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Johnstone walks Rajput into a corner.  Johnstone hits home with a sharp right hook.  
Rajput attempts to land a right hook, but Johnstone parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Johnstone quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Rajput lands a solid jab.  
Johnstone closes the distance.  Johnstone pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  
Rajput pivots to the left of his opponent, but Johnstone lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Johnstone advances into close range.  Rajput throws a right uppercut, but Johnstone clinches his opponent.  Rajput pushes his forearm into Johnstone's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Rajput.  
Rajput digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Johnstone hits the target with a stiff jab.  
Johnstone is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook.  
Johnstone quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Rajput throws a left uppercut, but Johnstone holds on to his opponent.  Rajput uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Johnstone behind the head. Johnstone leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Johnstone walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Johnstone lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Johnstone hits home with a firm right hook.  
Rajput sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Johnstone lands a sharp jab.  
Rajput finds the target with a jab.  
Rajput manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Rajput stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Johnstone is on target with a jab.  
Rajput steps to the outside.  Johnstone is on target with a solid overhand right.  
Johnstone closes the distance.  Johnstone pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a sharp left hook to Rajput's body.  
Rajput steps to the outside.  Rajput sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Johnstone lands an overhand left, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head.  
Johnstone lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Johnstone pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Johnstone lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Johnstone drives a stinging right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Johnstone lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
